MOLINI PIZZUTI EASY GNOCCHI

“Easy Gnocchi” is the ideal mix for fresh home-made gnocchi ready in 30 minutes. “Easy Gnocchi” contains soft wheat flour type “00”, potato flakes, potato starch, and salt; you just have to add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, water, and the dough is ready!

Ingredients: soft wheat flour type “00”, potato flakes, potato starch, and salt
Portions: 4 portions 400gr

Advice for use:

Heat 160 ml of water in a heavy saucepan, when it starts boiling remove it from the heat, add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, pour “Easy Gnocchi” all at once and stir with a wooden spoon until all the water has been absorbed.
The dough, at this point, will be crumbly and not smooth, place it in a well-sealed container and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Place the dough onto a lightly floured working surface and tear off a piece of it and put the towel back on the rest of the dough so it doesn’t dry out.
With the palms of both hands roll the dough piece into a rope about 3/4 inch in diameter.
With a sharp knife cut the rope crosswise every 3/4 inch to make roughly 3/4-inch-square gnocchi.
Arrange the gnocchi in a single layer on the parchment-covered baking sheets, making sure they don’t touch.
Repeat until you run out of dough.
When all the gnocchi have been cut and spread out on the baking sheets, sprinkle them with a little more flour.
Cook the gnocchi into boiling salted water and drain them as soon as they resurface.
Your gnocchi are ready to be seasoned with your favorite sauces!
